The use of parasitic Nematodes (live microscopic worms) to control Slugs is a natural biological method with no possibility of secondary poisoning to other animals such as Toads, Frogs, and Birds.

Supplied in powder form, it is mixed with water and applied using a watering can with a sprinkler bar.

The Nematodes can be used safely on vegetables as well as flowers, my Hosta,s have never looked better, no more lace curtain leaves !

Use from March to October, when soil temperature is above 5°c the producer says up to 6 weeks protection but I find I get longer, I only apply twice a year in a normal season, however this is nature and sometimes Slugs do become more prolific then additional applications will be required.

Store the product in the fridge for 3 weeks if unopened.
