As a kid I had loads of fun with these, they are still a tool to be used in the pest control armoury, so to speak, I tend to use these where there are no nosy cats or kids, they have a strong spring and will bruise little fingers, and yours, so take care.

These traps can be baited with anything the rodent is taking at the time, I prefer to use a dab of crunchy peanut butter, but whatever takes you fancy, remember to keep the bait fresh.

There are steel versions about of this trap but I use the wooden type, I tend to get better results.
