Bird Control

There is differing opinions regarding bird control, by bird I refer to Corvids, Magpie, Crows etc, in my opinion there is a correlation between song bird reduction and Corvid predation, I have carried out an un-scientific experiment where I live, I used a Larsen trap for 1 year and trapped Magpies and Crows, in the following year there were appreciably more songbirds than previous and the following year the numbers were down again so I believe in Magpie (Corvid) control.

I only use 2 types of Larsen trap, one of them is a budget model, of excellent quality, I find this adequate for most people, I also have a professional model that can catch 6 or 7 at a time.

A lot of people say it is difficult to get the first bird, with my instructions you will find it quite easy, I then renew the call bird every time I get a fresh capture, remember to give the call bird food water with the traps I sell shelter is not a problem.

Remember to check the traps every 24 hours, I check mine every 12, I don’t like animals to suffer. All pest control must be done in accordance with The Wildlife and Countryside Act (1981).
