I have included slugs etc on this page it should really have a page of its own, Gastropods I will do it soon (perhaps)
The common problem during growing season either when gardening or trying to enjoy the garden is pests, in the form of insects trying to share your BBQ or slugs and snails eating things before they get on your plate.
These days there are better ways of controlling these pests than throwing slug pellets with gay abandon, when you use slug pellets do you apply exactly as stated on the container or do you add the “one for the pot“
There is an alternative in Nematodes, I sell billions of these microscopic predators, they are safe to use on flowers and produce for eating, there is NO secondary poisoning so the local frog and toad population is safe, the birds love snails, especially Mistle Thrushes so we should be avoiding the possibility of poisoning them with the use of Slug Pellets
We also believe flies, wasps and all other types of annoying insects can be controlled using natural products such as the ThermaCELL© range of products, I have used them and they are fantastic, during a recent holiday in rural France the ThermaCELL© device was invaluable.
Cat and dog fleas can be problem all year, we have a flea lamp that replicates the body temperature of the animal with a sticky pad to catch the fleas, works very well, we also stock spare pads and lamps
All the products I sell I have tried and tested, if they don’t work I wont sell them.
